Weather pictures of optics

Atmospheric optics belongs to the group other than clouds, the so called photometeors. They are caused by reflection and refractions of (small) water droplets or ice crystals by light. They include: halo phenomena, corona, irisation, glory, rainbow (and fogbow), Bishop's ring, mirage, shimmer, scintillation, green flash and twillight colors. In my area the halos are the most frequent optics sometimes up to a couple of times a week.
