17/10/1977 Location: CDG/LFPG Photo: collection Skystef Description: this airframe of Air Zaïre was on October 12 1977 ferried from Zurich to Paris (CDG) where a blue cheatline and a (reversed) Sabena tail logo was painted on being rolled-out five days later, here seen such. Again one day later (October 18) it was ferried to Brussels.for a one month lease to Sabena as one of their own DC10's was in heavy maintenance. On December 1 1977 it was returned to Air Zaïre and repainted at Paris (CDG) into their livery. However on January 2 1978 it was there again seen with blue cheatline and white tail with small Sabena logo on a prolonged lease to Sabena which ended early March 1977. |
