Description: this vintage 1944 build Piper (ex USAAF) came on August 17 1966 in the Belgian register for Christiane Devleminck on behalf of Devleminck Air Services (DAS), established in 1953 which was a flight school based at Grimbergen airfield, here seen at its home base with "DAS" titles in the tail. On October 7 1976 its CofA did expire while laid up at its home base and was cancelled from the register on June 30 1981. Later on July 14 1986 it showed up in the English register as "G-AKTH" for a private user Anthony Leslie Wickens.
