Description: this second hand Spitfire (ex Belgian Air Force "SM-41") came on March 26 1956 in the register for Cogea Nouvelle, established on January 14 1946 as Compagnie Générale d'Exploitation Aéronautique (shortened to Cogea) based at Keerbergen airfield but after a reorganistation on November 30 1954 its name changed to Cogea Nouvelle whereby its base switched to Ostend airport. Here seen such in a metal livery with their logo and titles on the fuselage. On July 2 1963 it was cancelled from the register as it went three days earlier to England for a private user Tim A. Davies being re-registered "G-ASJV".
