1965 Location: -/EBGB Photo: collection Skystef Description: this second Percival Proctor came on May 21 1957 in the register for Cogea Nouvelle, established on January 14 1946 as Compagnie Générale d'Exploitation Aéronautique (shortened to Cogea) based at Keerbergen airfield but after a reorganistation on November 30 1954 its name changed to Cogea Nouvelle whereby its base switched to Ostend airport. It was used by them for drogue-towing. On February 24 1961 it migrated to Publiciel established on January 1 1961 and based at Grimbergen airfield. It had an accident at its home base in 1964 without further details and later on May 20 1964 its CofA did expire. It was from July 1965 onwards used as a gate guardian at this airfield, here seen such in a livery with blue cheatline (like sistership OO-ARM) carrying no titles. In 1970 it was broken up there and subsequently cancelled from the register on February 4 of the same year. |
