Date: 03/03/2022 Location: BRU/EBBR Photo: Skystef Description: second B747-8F of Air Belgium, also an ex Saudi Arabian airframe, arrived at Brussels on February 5 2022 as "M-ABOV" in the depicted livery as it was to be operated by the Chinese Hongyuan Group on flights between Brussels and China. It was stored for a while pending certification in the Belgian register, here seen such with the Isle of Man registration, and was supposed to become "OO-ABH". |

Date: 31/08/2025 Location: BRU/EBBR Photo: Skystef Description: after a maintenance visit at Hong Kong between June 30 - August 14 2025, it made on August 15-16 a couple local test flights over Belgium & France, was seen at Brussels on August 18 with Belgian registration "OO-LFC" and two days later officially in the register, here seen such whereby the Austrian flag next to the regi was replaced by the Belgian one. It made its first commercial flight on September 1 2025 and still current. |
