It arrived a month earlier on January 29 1953 at its home base Grimbergen airfield and provided training for future Sabena pilots. Here seen such in a livery with tiny "Sabena" titles above the tail logo. On August 24 1953 it crashed on a VFR flight in poor weather at Krabbendijk (the Netherlands) whereby the sole occupant (the pilot) was killed after been disorientated in the low clouds. Later on September 2 of the same year it was cancelled from the register. |
