Fairchild-Swearingen SA.226 TC Metro II (TC-247)

Description: the third airframe for EAT (called "Metro") was delivered at Brussels on February 14 1978. It was also ordered to serve on the Sabena's "common market commuter" routes, and subsequently delivered in the markings of the Belgian flag carrier. Below the cockpit cheatline additional "European Air Transport" titles were added.

Description: on December 28 1989, it was cancelled to Saudi operator "SNAS" which has also a close relationship with DHL, hence the same color scheme. Here captured shortly before being accepted by the Saudi's, still with the Belgian regi, but shortly after this picture was taken it was changed to "HZ-SN9" and painted accordingly (photoproof exists) before leaving BRU on its way to Saudi Arabia.
