Description: being ex OO-CTI of SABENA, the fifth DC-6 airframe of Delta Air Transport was delivered on December 22 1972 at Antwerp in the livery of previous operator Troll-Air of Norway, still registered as "LN-MTU" and it remained such stored for a couple of months. It came in the Belgian register on February 26 1973 with the first two letters of its regi referring to DAT's managing direction Freddy Van Gaever.

Description: in spring 1973 it was resprayed in their full outfit and this was the ultimate livery when operational with DAT. It was baptized "Stuart Allen Roosa", an American astronaut done by himself on June 6 1973.

Description: on October 4 1974 this airframe was damaged beyond repair after the collapse of its nose wheel during take off from Southend, once more like with OO-FVG, the gear was retracted too soon by the same flight engineer. Luckely again with no casualties, but the airframes fate was less fortunate as the damage was too heavy. Here depicted four days after the accident, it was subsequently scrapped during January 1975.
