Description: Aviation Sans Frontières / Piloten Zonder Grenzen was formed in 1983 as non-commercial relief mission organization and was in fact a spin-off of the French organization with the same name. Their first own aircraft was registered in Belgium on November 20 1985, ex "OO-RIA" of Merlin Air Trade which came in the register on May 12 1981. Here depicted at Brussels Airport in between duties with on the right side the French titles and on the other side the Dutch titles in a livery based on the previous operator. In July 1991, this particular aircraft was damaged beyond repair during a take-off incident somewhere in Moçambique and after being used for spares it was cancelled on November 30 1999. Another Cessna with the same registration came into being for the organization between December 15 2006 and January 8 2020.
