Description: this vintage 1951 build Piper (ex USAAF) came on February 15 1972 in the register for Aero Nord Flying School based at Moorsele airfield. In June of the same year it migrated to a private user (M. Meuleman), also based at Moorsele airfield. On October 7 1975 it went to Royal Aéro Para Club de Spa, established in 1908 and based at Spa airfield, here seen such at its home base with the club's logo on the tail.

Description: here seen in a special livery of the French Army, noted such for the first time on May 28 1983 at the Bierset Open Doors. On July 11 1993, while enroute at low altitude, it hit an electricy wire at Harzé (Belgium) and crashed shortly afterwards killing the pilot on board. A crash report (in French) can be found here. It was cancelled from the register on September 23 1998.
