Description: this factory fresh Piper arrived in a crate at Brussels Airport on October 31 1978 and was a few weeks later on November 14 registered to Wallonair, established on November 1 1978 and based at Charleroi airport. Here it's seen such on a visit to Liège airport in the typical Tomahawk livery of Piper with small "Wallonair" titles at the backside (see also upper left inset). On December 9 1983 it migrated to Vliegclub De Wouw based at Goetsenhoven airfield. As this club was established in 1931, they received after more then 50 years in existance, the title of 'Koninklijke' Vliegclub de Wouw on February 7 1984 updating its livery in 1997. After been with the club for almost 37 years it made its final flight for them on August 29 2020 and a few months later, on December 11, it went to a private user (W. Uytterhaegen) basing its aircraft at Grimbergen airfield and is such still current.
