Morane-Saulnier MS.893A Rallye Commodore 180 (11453)

Description: this second hand Morane-Saulnier was registered on September 19 1980 to Dan-Aviation as their second aircraft. It was established on May 8 1980 and was based at Antwerp airport and one of the founders was also a well known pilot D. Cabooter. The airframe itself arrived seven days later at its home base Antwerp airport and is here seen such just after delivery in a livery inhereted from its previous French operator but without titles.

Description: seen with an advertisement of the Krediet Bank. On February 16 1988 it migrated to Antwerp Stampe Center whereby the tail logo disappeared. On April 16 1992 it moved on to Rallye Aviation Service based at Namur airport and later, on January 14 1994, it went to a private user (J. Rousseau) still based at Namur airport. On February 28 2013 J. Kaimé became the final private owner but the airframe was probable already withdrawn from use at Namur airport after its CofA did expire. It was sold for spares to Gill Aviation and cancelled from tthe register on May 26 2015.
