McDonnell Douglas MD-900 Explorer (900-00020)

Description: this second hand helicopter was registered on May 28 1996 to Helifly, established on July 3 1990 and based at Halen heliport, but seven days later, namely on June 4 1996, leased to Samu Air Rescue Luxembourg. Here seen such in a livery without titles (except for heli's type) which was the color scheme of previous Swedish operator Saab Nyge Aero. At a later stage it adopted its own livery with their titles.

Description: from February 2003 onwards it was used by the Belgian Air Ambulance (Medevac Antwerp), here depicted such in the livery of the previous Luxembourg operator. From August 2004 onwards it operated via Noordzee Helikopter Vlaanderen (NHV) for a hospital in Antwerp as UZAcopter. On January 11 2008 ownership changed to European Support Center (ESC) and from March 4 2008 onwards it was operating for Samu du Nord based at a hospital in Lille (France). Ownership once more changed to Noordzee Helikopter Vlaanderen (NHV) on June 25 2008 and in 2011 it was seen operating for NotArtz Austria. It was leased to the Police Aviation Services (U.K.) between May 15 2012 and November 2013 and even reregistered as "G-ESCI". After been restored in the Belgian register, it was from January 10 2014 onwards for a couple of years again operated by Noordzee Helikopter Vlaanderen (NHV). After been stored for a while it was air tested at Zwartberg (Belgium) on July 13 2020 and one month later on August 21 cancelled to Austria as "OE-XCC" for Heli-Austria.
