Description: this factory fresh Cessna (build by Reims) was registered on May 25 1966 as "OO-SIJ" to Sotramat based at Brussels Airport which was at that time the Benelux importer for Cessna airframes. On January 11 1967 it was re-registered as "OO-FBV" for the Gentse Universitaire Vliegclub which was established on December 13 1948 and based at Ghent airfield, here seen such in a livery without titles. In 1980 it migrated to a private user (J. Van De Kerckhove), at first he based its aircraft at Ghent airfield, later Aalst airfield (used by Aeroclub Aalst in 1985) and after Aalst airfield closed its doors on February 1 1987 it ended at Moorsele airfield. On November 3 1987 its CofA did expire and was since 1992 laid up at the owners property in Zingem (Belgium), much later being cancelled from the register, namely on August 1 2019.
