Description: build in 1951, this second hand Piper (ex USAAF) was on September 12 1968 registered as "OO-HMT" to a private user (A. Van Der Straeten) who based its aircraft at Moorsele airlield. On October 16 1968 it went as "OO-FLW" to a trio private owners (Buysse, Goeman & Calberson) and based their aircraft at Ghent airfield. By the early seventies it went to Ghent Aviation Club which was established on January 1 1938. From 1974 onwards it went again to private user (L. Goeman), also Ghent airfield here depicted such in Belgian military markings with tiny club logo on the nose of the previous owner and the construction number in the tail. In 1982 it moved to another private user (D. De Leyn), Ursel Air Base and afterwards more (private) users followed and is current with M. Kenis.
