Description: this factory fresh Morane-Saulnier was on May 27 1971 registered to Ghent Flying Club (referring to its regi), a club which was established on March 6 1971 and based at Ghent airfield. On November 13 1978 it migrated to the Vlaamse Luchtvaart Maatschappij, but 11 days later going to a couple private users (R. Van Campenhout & J. Van Den Broeck) which based their aircraft at Grimbergen airfield. Here it's seen on a visit at Antwerp airport, still in the livery of Ghent Flying Club inclusive its tiny titles just behind the window (see also upper left inset). In 1980 it went to another couple of private users (R. Van Campenhout & J. Piessens), same airfield. On July 10 1992 it went to Aeroclub Brugge based at Ursel Air Base. On May 10 2010 it was cancelled to the States as "N880V", but operating for a Belgian owner R. Verschaeve, also based at Ursel Air Base. On April 14 2012 it was damaged beyond repair during an emergency landing in a field near its home base, luckely without casualties.
