Description: this factory fresh Piper was registered on May 14 1949 to a private user (M. De Fierlant) basing its airframe at St-Hubert airfield. After a couple of other private users, it went to the Royal Antwerp Aviation Club (R.A.A.C.) on March 2 1962, here seen such with tiny 40th anniversary logo in the tail. It was from June 1967 onwards also occasionally leased to Antwerp airport based Publi-Sky for bannertowing. It had a fatal crash at Oud-Turnhout airfield on December 21 1971.
