Description: this second hand Piper was registered on November 26 1965 to a private user (R. Tjolle) and based its aircraft at Antwerp airport. Here seen rolling on the tarmac of its home base in front of a couple DC-3's of DAT and a particularity in this shot is the fact that it's seen carrying a logo in the tail of the Royal Antwerp Aviation Club (R.A.A.C) when it celebrated its 40th anniverisary (it was created on November 3 1927), although nothing is mentionned in the available literature. Later in the seventies another handfull private owners followed until being laid up in a hangar at Grimbergen airfield. On December 13 1982 it was cancelled from the register but its fuselage remained stored in the hangar. Much later, namely on January 7 1987, it migrated to England as "G-BNED" for a private user Peter Storey where it ended its carreer in 2007.
