Description: this factory fresh Piper (build in 1971 with "OO-GPA" being not taken up) was registered to European Air Transport on August 22 1973, based at Grimbergen airfield and used by its flight school. Here it's seen in the first livery (of two) with small "European Air Transport" titles above the registration (see also left upper inset) and in the early eighties it received its second livery, also with titles and a red tail. On January 13 1983 it went to a private owner (J. Fizaine), Grimbergen airfield and retaining this second livery but without titles. On April 28 1984 it fell victim to an accident at Midden-Zeeland airfield (the Netherlands) when after landing it ran off the runway due to strong winds and its wing tips colliding with a couple hangars. It was officially cancelled from the register on July 12 1984 as a write-off.
