Description: this factory fresh Learjet was the first airframe of this type in Belgium being registered on March 16 1972 to Abelag Aviation. Here it's seen in its first livery without tilles on a visit to Antwerp airport.

Description: by 1983 it received an updated livery, still without titles. On September 14 1993 it was cancelled to Scibe-Airlift Za´re as "9Q-CBC", here seen in the second color scheme of Abelag shortly before its hand over with the Zairean registration crossed by a tape. With this carrier it had a fatal accident on January 18 1994 when it impacted the ground while on a visual approach in darkness to runway 24 of Kinshasa-N'Djili airport; killing both two strong crew.
