Description: this factory fresh Learjet was the first bizjet of this type in Belgium, being registered on March 16 1972 to Abelag Aviation which was established in 1964 and basing this airframe at Brussels Airport. Here it's seen in its first livery without titles on a visit to Antwerp airport.

Description: by 1983 it received an updated livery, still without titles. On September 12 1993 it left for Zaire being cancelled to Scibe-Airlift Zaïre as "9Q-CBC" two days later, here seen in the second color scheme of Abelag one day before its handover with the Zairean registration crossed by a tape. With this carrier it had a fatal accident on January 18 1994 when it impacted the ground while on a visual approach in darkness to runway 24 of Kinshasa-N'Djili airport, killing the two strong crew.
