Morane-Saulnier MS.880B Rallye Club (2301)

Description: this factory fresh Morane-Saulnier was registered on July 12 1973 to Aviation s.p.r.l. based at Grimbergen airfield and it was specialized in maintenance & revision of small sized aircraft like Jodel, Robin, Fournier, SOCATA Morane & Cessna 150. By February 1974 it migrated to a private user (E. Buelens) basing its aircraft at Antwerp airport, here seen such in a livery with "Aviation training" titles inhereted from its previous operator which were later erased. From 1977 onwards it had four different private owners, all based at Kiewit airfield, and on September 24 1982 it ended up with Aero-Kiewit established on February 27 1969. With this club it crashed on June 25 1986 near its home base when during a baptise flight had a mid-air collision with a Belgian Air Force Mirage "BA13" killing the three people on board the Morane-Saulnier while the Mirage pilot was only injured.
