80's Location: -/EBGB Photo: collection Skystef Description: after a couple private users in the seventies (N. Waucquez, M. Villance) basing the aircraft at Charleroi airport, it was from 1978 onwards with Aeroclub Grimbergen, here seen such with its tail logo. In 1989 it was seen laid up at Grimbergen airfield due for restoration and on January 30 1991 it went to a private user (F. De Smet) who tried to reactivate the restoration process at its residence at Herentals (Belgium) from May 1991 onwards, later Zoersel airfield. In 1994 it left on a trailer heading for the United Kingdom whereby a reservation was made as "G-KEVS" and it was cancelled from the Belgian register on February 7 1995. It was supposed to be restorated there but also this project seems to be abandoned and the English registration was not taken up ending the trace for this airframe. |
