Piper PA30-160B Twin Comanche (30-1586)

Description: this second hand Piper was on June 27 1975 registered to Publiciel, established on January 1 1965 and based at Grimbergen, here seen such at Brussels Airport in the livery of its previous Italian operator but with "Publiciel" titles on the engine cowling. On February 28 1979 it moved to a private owner (J. Sanders) basing the airframe at Antwerp airport. Early 1982 it had an accident at Strasbourg (France) and was afterwards transported via a trailer dismantled to Wevelgem airport. On June 23 1982 its CofA did expire being, was rebuild in summer 1986 but remained stored for more than a decade at Wevelgem airport. On August 18 1993 it was sold to Jacart Air Service bvba, also based at Wevelgem airport. It's CofA did again expire on December 21 2000 being once more laid up inside a hangar at Wevelgem airport. Jacart Air Service bvba itself went into liquidation on December 12 2011 and after the owner passed away on February 6 2018 it was put for sale being cancelled from the register on June 22 of the same year. Afterwards on March 18 2019 it went to the States as "N55JS" for Air Flight Enterprises.
