Description: the second DC-6 airframe of Delta Air Transport was delivered at Antwerp on April 9 1972 as "TF-FIP" in the full livery of Icelandair, its previous operator. It was immediate serviced and reprayed in the red color scheme of DAT. But due to an accident with its other DC-6 (OO-FVG), it was urgently needed and the tail motive was not added yet nor the Belgian registration when it became operational from April 15 onwards.

Description: it came in the Belgian register on April 18 1972, the last two letters of the regi referring to DAT's managing director Freddy Van Gaever, the tail motive was added, went such operational on April 28 and this color scheme remained during its stay with DAT. It served the Antwerp based airline till September 1973, was cancelled to Zantop International as "N3549H" on September 6 and left Antwerp for Detroit on October 4 1973.
