Boeing 737-229 Advanced (20907)

Description: the first B737 of Sabena was handed over on April 29 1974 but remained for a while in the States for crew training. It was delivered at Brussels on May 17 (being the second on Belgian soil after OO-SDB) and became operational on June 15. Here depicted in the factory of Boeing.

Description: captured a couple of months after been operational in the first of three color schemes.

Description: within a year, there were some slight adjustments like adding small "belgian world airlines" titles and placing the registration in the cheatline. Here also depicted with a temporary white nose.

Description: airframes final color scheme of Sabena and carrying stickers like "Flying together with Swissair", another one as official carrier of the Olympic games of 1996 and a "Marsupilami" cartoon.
