Description: the first B747 airframe for Sabena was delivered at Brussels on November 26 1970. It went operational (to New York) on January 8 1971.

Description: here captured on a landing in its first livery, but with a grey belly adopted in 1971.

Description: during the first months of 1974, it was converted by Boeing to SCD (Side Cargo Door) on the left side. Also in the upper deck the 3 standard windows were replaced by 10. Here a magnificent view from the tower towards satellite "A" (later renamed "C") with in the foreground a Fokker F27 "OO-SBP" and in the back a Sabena Caravelle, most probable "OO-SRA" which flew its final season for them before retirement.

Description: taken just before retirement in the airframes final livery, it was taken out of commercial service on February 28 1993 after a flight from... New York. TT = 94794 hr, total starts & landings = 17682.

Description: captured in neutralized colors and waiting for a potential buyer which was not found. A solution in form of being used as restaurant also failed as "not transportable", so demolition was her final fate.
