Description: this vintage 1942 build Tiger Moth came on August 6 1956 in the register for the Belgian State, department Ministry of Communications, for Ecole d’Aviation Civile / Burgerlijke Luchtvaartschool (founded in May 1952) but operated by Sabena and based at Grimbergen airfield. Here seen such in an orange livery with pink engine cowling carrying in the tail "Etat Belge -  Ecole de 'l Aviation Civile" titles (see also upper left inset) with on the other side the Dutch version of these titles. On March 26 1969 its CofA did expire and was for a few years laid up inside a hangar at its home base being on December 23 1971 cancelled from the register as been sold to the USA but not registered there. Instead it went back to England in July 1982 as "G-AOGI" for a private user Ronald Ivor Souch.
