Description: this vintage 1940 build Tiger Moth came on September 10 1962 in the register to the Belgian State, department Ministry of Communications, for Ecole d’Aviation Civile / Burgerlijke Luchtvaartschool (founded in May 1952) but operated by Sabena and based at Grimbergen airfield, later St Hubert airfield. Here seen in an orange livery with green engine cowling and without titles. Its CofA did expire on June 27 1969 and was stored at St Hubert airfield being cancelled from the register on December 23 1971. It was transferred to the Brussels Air Museum (seen there in August 1978) but in 1980 it moved on to the Flygvapnets Flygmuseum at Satenas (Sweden) in exchange for a Draken Fv.35067.
