Reims/Cessna F.150J (F150-0506)

Description: this factory fresh Cessna (build by Reims) came in the Belgian register on May 8 1969 for E.M. Deom Aviation a small company who acted as flying school but also made technical assistence to Cessna 150's (of Publi-Air). Set up in 1968, it was based at Grimbergen airfield and run by Xavier Deom. Here the airframe is seen in a green livery with small "E.M. Deom Aviation" titles in the tail (see also upper left inset).

Description: at a later stage it adopted a blue livery and here seen such. In 1976 it went to V. Melotte on behalf of Aero-Kiewit retaining the same outfit but without titles.

Description: in 1977 it migrated to a private user (M. Bloch) based at Grimbergen airfield. Between 1978-1982 it was with Publi-Air and on July 7 1982 it went to a private user (G. Rappe), Namur airport. On May 2 1985 it moved on a duo private users (A. Jacqmin & J-L. Roland) based at Namur airport, here seen such in a livery without titles (adopted in 1983) when stored in a hangar at its home base.

Description: after been for sale for several years it was on April 16 1991 officially sold  to Vliegclub Hoevenen. After some unofficial sales, namely in 1998 to Styl Aviation (Antwerp airport), in 1999 to a trio private owners (J. Provez, P. Declercq & H. De Turck) based at Geraardsbergen airfield, it went in 2000 (again unofficially) to another private owner (L. Gijsels) basing the airframe at Antwerp airport for a sale to Aero-Para-Club der Kempen. After a long period of storage at Antwerp airport it was made airworthly in 2007, here seen such in an updated livery without titles, and left for its new home base Zoersel airfield on June 15 2007. On January 29 2012 it returned to Antwerp airport and was afterwards withdrawn from use. Two months later it was seen with its engine removed and it was cancelled from the register on March 12 2012.
