Reims/Cessna F.172F (F172-0140)

Description: this factory fresh Cessna (build by Reims) was on April 1 1965 registered to Abelag Aviation, established in 1964 and basing this airframe at Grimbergen airfield, here seen such on a visit to Antwerp airport in a livery without titles.

Description: in 1969 it migrated to Publi Air and Instrument Flying School also based at Grimbergen airfield. Here depicted with tiny titles on the fuselage and tail (see also upper left inset) and parked on the tarmac near the northern Pier of Brussels Airport at a time when the General Aviation terminal was not constructed yet. Later in 1970 it went to a private user (P. Sterckman) basing it at Balen-Keiheuvel airport and in 1973 it ended up with Royal Aéro Para Club de Spa (based at Spa airfield). Decades later, on February 19 1997, it was cancelled from the register going afterwards to Hungary as "HA-SLF" for Aero Media KFT.
