Description: this second hand Piper arrived on September 7 1992 at Zwartberg airfield as "N2245Z" and was two months later on November 10 registered to enterpreneur M. Pignataro operating under the name of Air Service Liège, a company he and a few others officially launched five years later, namely on November 19 1997. Here seen when with the enterpreneur in a livery carrying "Air Service Liège" titles above the windows (see also upper left inset). An update in the livery took place during early 1998 after his company came into being. On May 10 2006 it went to the Belgian Flight School (BFS) based at Charleroi airport which became Bluetail Flight School on October 10 2014. On July 21 2007 it had an incident at Charleroi airport which is described here. It made its final flight on December 6 2017 whereby afterwards its CofA did expire on May 11 2018. The flight school itself was declared bankrupt on August 29 2023.
