Reims/Cessna F.150G (F150-2018)

Description: this factory fresh Cessna (build by Reims) was on July 19 1967 registered to Sotramat based at Brussels Airport / Antwerp airport which was at that time the Benelux importer of propeller driven Cessna airframes. Later it operated its own aircraft also for flying school activities as the depicted one carrying a red livery with some titles (SFS of Sotramat Flying School in the tail and furthermore see upper left inset).

Description: later the "FAA Approved School" tail titles where erased as depicted here on a snowy day in January 1969.

Description: and at the end of 1969 all titles were erased and a golden tail was adopted as seen here taxiing at its home base. On August 26 1974 it was damaged beyond repair on an emergency landing in a meadow after encountering a thunderstorm and hit some  electricity wires at Boechout (Belgium), luckely the student pilot survived without harm.
